Returns and Warranty

Refund Policy

Build-a-Robot has a 30-day refund or exchange policy for products, materials, and parts returned unopened, unmarked, and in their original packaging within 30-days of the purchase date directly from Build-a-Robot stores or learning centers.

A Return Authorization (RA) is required from Build-a-Robot before any products can be returned to Build-a-Robot. Any products received without an RA number will be returned to sender at the sender’s expense. Build-a-Robot is not responsible for products that do not make it to its facility, so a shipping method with tracking is highly recommended for the returns on any and all products.

To obtain a Return Authorization number, please contact Build-a-Robot Customer Service at sales@kids2glow.com. Please include a copy of the original purchase receipt and the reason for your return in the RA request. RA numbers are valid for 14 days from issuance, so returned product must be received by Build-a-Robot within that 14-day period. All returns will be processed back to the original credit card on record from the original purchase or can be used towards the purchase of other Build-a-Robot product. Shipping, handling, and taxes are non-refundable. Returns will be processed within 30 days of receipt.

Warranty Policy

Build-a-Robot provides a one year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase on physical products. Proof of purchase is required for the Limited Warranty. Products or parts being repaired or replaced must be shipped prepaid to a Build-a-Robot facility. Build-a-Robot will provide the repaired or replaced part or product at its cost and pay for return shipping to the customer of these items.

The Limited Warranty protects against material and workmanship defects under normal use of the product. Build-a-Robot will, either, 1) repair the product; 2) provide a new or refurbished replacement product the meets the specifications of the original product; or 3) exchange the product with a new or refurbished product that meets the specifications of the original product. A replacement product or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original product.

The Limited Warranty does not cover damages or defects resulting from (1) accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly; (2) improper operation or maintenance, usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply; (3) lost parts that were originally supplied with the hardware product; (4) normal wear and tear.

This limited warranty does not, under any circumstances, cover the replacement of or reimbursement for any electronic device or personal property that is not a product sold directly by Build-a-Robot.

A Return Authorization (RA) is required from Build-a-Robot before any products can be sent to Build-a-Robot. Any products received without an RA number will be returned to sender at the sender’s expense. Build-a-Robot is not responsible for products that do not make it to its facility, so a shipping method with tracking is highly recommended for the returns on any and all products.
